Description
Founded in 1950, the Adega Cooperativa de Mesão Frio was the first to be created in the demarcated Douro region.
With the initial motto of helping small producers in the region to sell their grapes and wine, over the course of its more than 70 years of existence it has changed to meet the challenges and trends of the market.
Today, it strictly controls the grapes delivered by its members, and its watchword is the quality of the wines it puts on the market (to the detriment of quantity).
