Description
Megalithic monument locally known as Casa da Moura. It is still in a good state of preservation, with its polygonal chamber and an east-facing corridor preserved. The Zedes dolmen is structured with eight interlocking shafts, including the headstone and the funerary monument's lid. On the 2nd, 3rd and 4th shafts on the south side, on the inside, there are some traces of ochre paintings whose outlines and motifs are poorly defined, although some wavy lines topped by a "crosier" are represented. This monument has been the subject of frequent publications and is one of the best known and most studied buildings in the Trás-os-Montes region.
