Description
The Folgosa Tourist and River Pier has the particularity of having the first semi-aquatic bar-restaurant in the Douro, facing the reservoir and overlooking the vineyards of Covelinhas. It also has a terrace "suspended" over the water. This work, which is the responsibility of the IPTM, began in February 2005 and has also led to the urbanization of the riverside area. The pier can accommodate tourist boats of all kinds, from hotel boats to cruise ships, and has space for 15 pleasure boats and an emergency ramp.
