Description
Espaço Miguel Torga, located in São Martinho de Anta, is a cultural facility whose fundamental aim is to promote the work of the great writer from Trás-os-Montes. Opened to the public at the beginning of 2015, the Espaço Miguel Torga has already welcomed thousands of visitors, from all over Portugal and abroad, looking to learn more about the life and work of Miguel Torga. This building, whose architectural project was designed by Eduardo Souto Moura, has also been the stage for a diverse range of cultural activities, including musical concerts, theatrical performances, visual and plastic arts exhibitions, book presentations, literary festivals, poetry recitals, among others.
