Description
The 17th century parish church of São Cosme and São Damião, with its Baroque gilded woodwork, is considered to be the most artistic in the municipality. This church was probably built at the beginning of the 17th century, but before that there was another, from the early days of nationality, at the bottom of the village on the Fontaínhas site, which is still known today as Igreja Velha.
