Description
The church of Vila Seca dates back to 1695. Its interior is exuberantly beautiful, especially the gilded woodwork of the high altar altarpiece, which is decorated with continuous foliage. The tabernacle and the Solomonic columns are adorned with plant motifs. The bell tower, made of granite ashlar, is separate from the body of the church, of which there are few 18th-century examples in the country, with the characteristic of having been built between the portico, rather than at the rear of the church.
