Description
Located next to the bypass linking Luzelos to Carrazeda de Ansiães, the Núcleo Museológico da Telha is the result of the restoration of an old roof tile whose structural remains have survived to the present day. Here, visitors are shown the entire production process of the handmade roof tile, commonly known as meia-a-cana, from the extraction of the clay to its firing and subsequent sale and distribution throughout the Douro region.
