Armamar Municipal Swimming Pools

The indoor swimming pools are located at the top of the town of Armamar, next to the School Group. Its facilities are equipped with sports equipment and enjoy a familiar and comfortable atmosphere. This space consists of two pools: a semi-Olympic pool (25 meters) and a learning pool (12.5 meters). It also has a fully equipped gym with areas for cardio-fitness exercises and a room for specific group classes (cycling, pilates, localization, etc.) The aim of this service is to provide physical and emotional well-being. A space for those looking to improve and take care of their physical and mental shape. The outdoor pools are located next to the indoor pools and face the Douro valley. There are two pools: a large oval-shaped one and a smaller round one dedicated to the youngest. The support building has internal and user support spaces: reception, offices, bar, changing rooms. It opens to the public in June and closes in September. It's a very pleasant place to take a dip, read a book or simply enjoy the stunning views over the Douro.
