Description
This Roman bridge was used by Junius Brutus' troops in 134 BC to destroy the Celtic fortress in the fortified village of CIVITADELLA, in the parish of Cidadelhe. It is located in a transition zone between the parishes of Cidadelhe and Oliveira. When you arrive in Cidadelhe, you'll find signs identifying the trail, from the Parish Council to the Martinhos Bridge (about 2 kilometers away, accessible on foot). Legend has it that on this bridge the devils used to give audiences at midnight on Fridays.
