Santo Adrião Romanesque Bridge

Description

This is the name of the Roman bridge, although it was built in the 15th century. However, its buttresses reveal a Romanesque structure and it may have been built on the foundations of an older one, possibly Roman. At that time there were some polders (stones placed in the riverbed to serve as a passage) on the site, but they were destroyed by a flood in 1962.
